Background Sekisui House, EDQ and Peet have engaged j2 to assist with designing and implementing community activation strategies for a number of their Queensland based developments. These events strategies are aimed at connecting people with new sites, developments and the landscape and lifestyle of each. Through event-based initiatives, land and property developers can inspire a deeper understanding in their target markets about forthcoming opportunities to reside and invest in these positive, active developments that are being ‘brought to life’ as new liveable communities. J2 Services and Solutions Event contracts with Sekisui House, EDQ and Peet have been about strategic planning first and foremost – aligning an event-focused series of initiatives with the organisations’ visions and business goals. However, j2 is also involved in the roll-out and delivery of each event For community engagement events, where relevant, j2 provides: |
Level of Complexity Each development across Queensland that j2 works in has a different project manager and set of objectives surrounding community and landscape. It is imperative that this is taken into account when planning events in these locations. j2 often delivers events in a ‘blank canvass’ landscape – a levelled land development ready to be built upon and generally devoid of basic infrastructure and utilities, or the aesthetics of trees and grass. Our resourcefulness in the areas of creativity and operational expertise is put into play to design appealing and comfortable events that run smoothly. Key Achievements Stakeholder feedback “I just wanted to touch base with you and let you know how wonderful Mel and Holly were on Saturday. The event was so well set up and was exceptionally run, there wasn't a question they couldn't answer or an issue they couldn't deal with! The team and I are so grateful for all of their hard work and the effort they put in on Friday and Saturday”. Sarah Thompson – Marketing Officer, Economic Development Queensland "Thanks Mel & Jo for your hard work making this event run so well… Well done." Billie Stevic – Project Marketing Executive, Peet Limited "The praise for the Warner Lakes Tree Day event keeps coming. The Community Line received an email this morning from a Warner Lakes resident thanking Peet for putting on such an 'excellent and well-organised event' for Tree Day. She said her entire family had a terrific morning. She is a regular at the Warner Lakes events. It's also great to see residents getting involved and loving their community."
